I chose a fountain pen as my drawing since one of topics for our scientific drawings were old and outdated technologies. Since I like using fountain pens, they were my topic.
While making my drawing I learned that they were many types of fountain pen cartridges.
I organized my drawinging with the pen decomposed in the center, because I felt it important to show how it is dissassembled. around the center I had several views, demonstrating its use and how it is refilled.
Suggestion I would make to a student who is about to start this project would be to preferably have their object in hand. My fountainpen was missing its cartridge and I felt held back by that.
I think my most successful area of my artwork would be the shading.
